Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a crucial part of our store operations, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. Your role will involve providing exceptional customer service and collaborating with team members to ensure a seamless shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
  • Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, stock shelves, and assist shoppers.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and management.
  • Provide feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
  • Participate in store inventory counts and uphold cash policies.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, ensuring security and confidentiality.
  • Perform physical tasks such as stocking merchandise, lifting up to 45 pounds, and general cleaning duties.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Excellent customer service and cash register abilities.
  • Proficient in operating equipment and following cleaning standards.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask efficiently.
  • High School Diploma preferred, retail experience is a plus.
