VP, Late Development Team Lead, Oncology

Job Description

We are seeking a VP, Late Development Team Lead in Oncology to join Jazz Pharmaceuticals, a global biopharmaceutical company focused on transforming the lives of patients. The Late Development Team Lead plays a crucial role in the late-stage lifecycle of products, overseeing strategic planning and operational execution of global product development.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional Late Development Teams from proof of concept to approval.
• Develop and execute global product strategies that optimize patient value.
• Participate in Long Range Planning and governance approvals.
• Mentor team members, provide strategic guidance, and drive team effectiveness.
• Collaborate with functional heads for resource allocation and key team nominations.
• Engage in disease area assessments and cross-functional initiatives.

Requirements

• 15+ years of global drug development experience in pharma/biotech industry.
• Proven leadership in strategic multi-functional environments.
• Experience in late phase Solid Tumor Oncology drug development.
• Demonstrated ability to lead collaborations and alliances.
• Strong problem-solving skills and cross-cultural management experience.

Education and Licenses

• Advanced degree (MD, PhD, PharmD) required.
