Job Description

The University of Vermont Health Network is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) to join our Hospice & Palliative Care team at the McClure Miller Respite House. As an LNA, you will play a crucial role in providing hands-on care to terminally ill patients, offering support to their families, and collaborating with a team committed to delivering compassionate and high-quality care.

Responsibilities

  • Provide physical and emotional care to patients in hospice care settings or their homes.
  • Establish trusting and empathetic relationships with patients, respecting individual needs and preferences.
  • Educate and comfort families, offering guidance and support during challenging times.
  • Work collaboratively within a team to ensure compassionate and high-quality care delivery.

Qualifications

  • Active Vermont Nursing Assistant license.
  • Demonstrated commitment to providing compassionate care.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Healthcare experience is preferred.
