In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the microbiology department, ensuring operational efficiency and maintaining quality standards. Responsibilities

• Enforce sectional and departmental policies to optimize operations.
• Monitor supply purchases and personnel scheduling based on patient census.
• Provide guidance and support to technical personnel, including training and evaluation.
• Address and resolve departmental issues, maintaining communication with supervisors.
• Develop and update policy manuals for accuracy and compliance.
• Evaluate and enhance the technical performance of staff.
• Establish individual relationships with employees to support their development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and MT/MLT certification from ASCP required.
• 5-7 years of experience in a hospital laboratory setting as an MT/MLS.
