Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at The University of Vermont Health Network. As a Medical ICU RN, you will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to provide exceptional care to critically ill patients. This role involves utilizing evidence-based research, astute assessment skills, and clinical reasoning to deliver high-quality patient care in our 21-bed medical/cardiac intensive care unit.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care to patients through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care plans.
• Participate in quality initiatives and research projects within the MICU.
• Work collaboratively with various healthcare professionals to ensure excellence in patient care.
• Advocate for and support patients in their healthcare journey.

Requirements

• Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the State of Vermont.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Minimum of one year of experience in a clinical setting.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
