1st Shift Warehouse Team Member

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a 1st Shift Warehouse Team Member to join the dynamic team at Aldi. This full-time position offers an average of 30-35 hours per week with a starting wage ranging from $18.00 to $22.00 per hour, depending on the shift and schedule. The 1st Shift starts at 7:00 AM.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently for order fulfillment.
• Relocate merchandise in line with product handling guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise strategically for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning duties to maintain warehouse standards.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts.
• Cooperate effectively with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes.
• Inspect products for quality, safety, and sanitation.
• Work independently within designated responsibilities.
• Assist in achieving budgeted goals.
• Operate equipment in accordance with safety guidelines.
• Perform tasks accurately, efficiently, and within company procedures.
• Follow ergonomic and safety procedures.
• Report any product quality or safety concerns to management.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds on pallets.
• Move merchandise and prepare for deliveries.
• Requires sitting, standing, bending, reaching, lifting, and walking throughout the warehouse.
• Work in varied temperatures, including outdoor and refrigerated environments.
• Safely operate powered industrial equipment.
