Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Manager Trainee to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Manager Trainee, you will undergo comprehensive training in all aspects of store management to prepare you for running your own store successfully. Your responsibilities will include supervising daily store operations, ensuring high levels of customer service, managing team schedules, and developing operational strategies while mentoring and leading the team.
Position Details
- Job Type: Full-Time
- Estimated Hours: 45 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $27.50 per hour
- Earning Potential Year 1: Up to $101,000 (salary and bonus included, location may affect estimate)
Key Responsibilities

- Supervise team operations to ensure top-notch customer service
- Communicate company values for a cohesive team environment
- Manage customer concerns and resolutions
- Maintain store signage and product quality
- Conduct hiring, scheduling, and training processes
- Set job expectations for team members and evaluate performance
- Ensure store payroll and budget compliance
- Monitor market and make recommendations for maintaining competitiveness
- Ensure safety, cleanliness, and proper equipment maintenance
- Oversee merchandising and stock management
- Conduct inventory counts and comply with company policies
Requirements
- Minimum 18 years old
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Excellent customer service and leadership skills
- Understanding and application of company policies
- Management expertise in budgeting, personnel, and operations
- Proficient in using a cash register and store equipment
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
- Fulfill state and local requirements for alcohol sales
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3 years of retail experience, management experience preferred
