Job Description
We are looking for an Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will assist the Store Manager in overseeing day-to-day store operations, managing schedules, and developing strategies to enhance store performance. You will play a key role in training and developing the team while ensuring excellent customer service and adherence to company policies.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement action plans to improve store operations.
- Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to the team.
- Identify training opportunities to enhance team performance.
- Monitor the competitive environment and provide feedback to management.
- Supervise store personnel, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
- Maintain store cleanliness, stock levels, and product quality.
- Operate cash register and equipment efficiently.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of retail experience.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior management experience is a plus.
