Job Description
We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for merchandising and stocking products, cashiering, and ensuring the store is clean and welcoming for our customers. By providing exceptional customer service and collaborating with team members, you will contribute to enhancing the overall shopping experience.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets and Competencies in daily tasks.
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize product displays.
- Deliver outstanding customer service and assist shoppers effectively.
- Communicate clearly with team members and management.
- Report product feedback, inventory issues, and operational discrepancies.
- Participate in inventory management activities and uphold cash-handling policies.
- Adhere to company policies ensuring document security and confidentiality.
- Perform any other assigned duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older to qualify for this position.
- Proficient in providing prompt and courteous customer service.
- Ability to operate a cash register and various store equipment.
- Skilled in maintaining cleanliness to meet company standards.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Capable of working independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Meet all state and local regulations for handling alcohol sales.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous retail experience is advantageous.
- Combination of education and experience will be considered.
