Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a crucial member of our store operations, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking product, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring the store is well-maintained.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate professionalism and uphold ALDI's standards.
  • Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service and assist shoppers.
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management.
  • Provide feedback on products, inventory, and any issues.
  • Participate in inventory counts and ensure accurate stock levels.
  • Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize discrepancies.
  • Follow company policies, maintain confidentiality, and ensure security.
  • Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Qualifications

  • Minimum age requirement: 18 years.
  • Ability to offer prompt and courteous customer service.
  • Efficient operation of cash register and store equipment.
  • Capability to interpret and apply company guidelines.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
  • Organizational skills, attention to detail, and multitasking capabilities.
  • Compliance with state and local regulations for alcohol sales.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Retail experience is a plus.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable.
