Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Aldi. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing day-to-day store activities, ensuring top-notch performance, managing schedules, and fostering team development.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and implementing action plans to enhance store operations.
  • Communicate job duties and performance expectations to team members for optimal results.
  • Identify training opportunities to nurture team growth and performance.
  • Monitor the competitive landscape and suggest adjustments to maintain our market position.
  • Participate in the hiring process and ensure adherence to inventory and cash control procedures.
  • Maintain store cleanliness and organization, ensuring product quality and freshness.
  • Supervise daily operations, address customer concerns, and escalate issues as needed.
  • Uphold company policies, security, and confidentiality standards.

Requirements

  • Minimum 18 years old with the ability to work independently and in a team setting.
  • Demonstrated customer service skills and ability to lead and motivate team members.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
  • Prior retail experience and management background preferred.

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent; at least 3 years of retail experience.
  • Combination of education and experience equivalent to retail knowledge.
  • Previous management experience is a plus.
