Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and inviting store environment. By working closely with the ALDI team, you will ensure exceptional customer service and contribute to a positive shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) outlined for the role.
- Process customer purchases, maintain clean store areas, and neatly display merchandise.
- Provide prompt and exceptional customer service, assist customers during their shopping experience.
- Collaborate with team members and effectively communicate with store management.
- Contribute feedback on products, monitor inventory accuracy, and follow cash policies.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, ensuring security and confidentiality.
- Perform physical tasks such as stocking shelves and lifting items up to 45 pounds.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to deliver courteous customer service and operate a cash register accurately.
- Proficient in using equipment like electric/manual hand jacks, floor scrubbers, and cardboard balers.
- Experience in retail environments is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or within a team setting.
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
