Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment. Your exceptional customer service skills will enhance the shopping experience for our customers as you collaborate with the Aldi team.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) as outlined for the role.
- Process customer purchases, perform general cleaning duties, and maintain well-stocked shelves.
- Provide exceptional customer service to assist shoppers.
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
- Adhere to cash policies and company procedures.
- Comply with established policies while maintaining document security and data confidentiality.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient operation of a cash register.
- Safe and proper equipment operation.
- Capable of interpreting and applying company policies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
- Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous retail experience preferred.
- Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
