Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the cleanliness of the store to provide customers with a pleasant shopping experience.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the ALDI Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate clearly with management.
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to the management team.
- Participate in store inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
- Adhere to cash policies, minimize losses, and uphold company procedures.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Proficient in operating a cash register and store equipment.
- Capable of performing general cleaning tasks and following company policies.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous retail experience is a plus.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable.
