Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment to provide an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and suggest improvements.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures.
- Follow established company policies while ensuring security and confidentiality.
- Perform general cleaning duties to maintain store standards.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Demonstrate prompt and courteous customer service skills.
- Efficiently operate a cash register.
- Safely use equipment like hand jacks and floor scrubbers.
- Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Work independently and as part of a team.
- Stay organized, detail-oriented, and multitask effectively.
- Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is a plus.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience.
