Job Description
As a Store Associate at Aldi, you will play a vital role in ensuring the store maintains a clean and organized environment, provides exceptional customer service, and contributes to a positive shopping experience for customers. This full-time position offers 32-40 hours per week at a starting wage of $17.50 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Deliver outstanding customer service and assist shoppers.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management.
- Provide feedback on products, inventory, and other operational aspects.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
- Follow cash policies and procedures to minimize losses.
- Adhere to company policies for document security and confidentiality.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Proficient in operating a cash register and equipment.
- Ability to interpret and apply company policies.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is a plus.
