Job Description

We are looking for a Manager in Training to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Manager Trainee, you will participate in every aspect of store operations, gaining valuable experience to prepare you for managing your own store. Your responsibilities will include overseeing daily store activities, ensuring exceptional customer service, managing schedules, and developing operational plans while nurturing and guiding your team.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Estimated Hours: 45 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $28.25 per hour
• Earning Potential Year 1: Up to $98,000 (inclusive of salary and bonus, location-dependent)*

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills
• Supervise day-to-day operations, ensuring top-notch customer service
• Communicate company values to foster teamwork
• Handle customer concerns and maintain store presentation
• Hire, schedule, and train store personnel
• Manage store budgets and payroll
• Oversee merchandising and inventory management
• Ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to work independently and lead a team
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Prior retail experience, preferably in a management role
• Flexibility to travel within divisional requirements
