Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a vital part of our store operations, you will be responsible for various tasks including merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment to ensure an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. Collaborating with our ALDI team and providing outstanding customer service will be key aspects of your role.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $17.50 per hour
Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and stock shelves
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
- Communicate effectively within the team and with store management
- Participate in inventory management and cash handling procedures
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
- Operate cash register and store equipment efficiently
- Follow company policies and procedures
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Prior retail experience is a plus
