Job Description

Join our team at ALDI as a Store Team Member. In this role, you will be responsible for various in-store tasks including merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment. By providing exceptional customer service and working collaboratively with the ALDI team, you will contribute to enhancing the overall shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves neatly, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Assist customers to ensure a positive shopping experience.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
• Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Follow cash handling policies to minimize losses.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and uphold document security.
• Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficiently operate a cash register and store equipment.
• Perform cleaning duties to company standards.
• Interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Work well independently and in a team environment.
• Stay organized, detail-oriented, and multi-task efficiently.
• Meet state and local requirements for alcoholic beverage handling and sales.
