Store Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a Store Team Member to join our ALDI store. As a vital part of our team, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment to provide exceptional customer service. Working collaboratively with the ALDI team, you will enhance the shopping experience for our customers.

32-40 hours per week

Starting Wage

$17.50 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and overall store operations
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy
• Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses
• Follow established company policies, maintain confidentiality, and uphold security standards

Physical Demands

• Ability to stock and organize merchandise up to 45 pounds
• Perform various physical tasks required in a retail environment

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Customer service and cash register operation skills
• Proficiency in operating store equipment and performing cleaning tasks
• Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Prior retail experience preferred
